Private Ditch

• Maintained by all those who use that ditch.

• A clean ditch is more efficient and helps irrigation of ground to go faster. 

• Ordering water 48 hours before you turn on OR off. 

• Pay your water tax

• Report any violations such as: trash dumping into canal, canal bank alterations,  fences or other structures  being built in easement

• When 3 or more water users are on ONE private ditch (lateral) they must meet and elect a ditch rider.
